About Us
Fueled by people who are passionate about the insurance industry and giving back to the community
YIPT is Toronto’s platform for insurance industry professionals to engage, grow and give back to the community. Initiatives are held throughout the year giving members access to peer-to-peer networking, mentorship programs, and relationship building.
YIPT is a non-profit organization with over 1000 members in Ontario. This diverse group of members consists entirely of insurance industry professionals at varied stages in their career ranging from entry level to seasoned.
We also encourage industry professionals at senior levels to join as members of the YIPT community. We are committed to promoting the growth of the organization’s diverse membership and connecting members and industry leaders.
Mission
To build, connect and inform Toronto’s insurance community by providing a platform for individuals to enhance their leadership skills, build their networks, and develop their careers through YIPT’s three organizational pillars: community enhancement, professional networking, and learning opportunities. We aim to become the catalyst for individuals to stand out within the insurance industry and build their networks.

YIPT Ambassadors are passionate advocates who play a vital role in strengthening the connection between Young Insurance Professionals Toronto and the broader insurance community. Serving as representatives within their organizations and professional networks, ambassadors help promote YIPT’s events, initiatives, and programs while encouraging engagement and participation among peers. Through this role, ambassadors build meaningful industry relationships, enhance their leadership skills, and actively contribute to fostering a connected, informed, and inclusive community of emerging insurance professionals.
